How Jesus Christ Saved Me

Dream - Get back to Full Fellowship and Prayer

I had a very short dream where at the start, it was a resemblance of a computer game that I used to play a long time ago. I was standing outside a castle wall at night. Along the castle wall, there were these torch lights, evenly spaced out. I was observing someone who was trying to cast a frost spell at one of the torches to extinguish it.

This person was of a different race, non-human but male, very large and tall. As I was watching him extinguish the flame torches with his frost projectile, I said to him, “Wow, that is amazing! Tell me how you did that.” He didn’t say anything to me but acknowledged that I was there. Eventually, he slowly walked off, until I saw Jesus appear to my right. I did not look directly at him, but I could see from the corner of my eye that he wore a white robe.

He spoke to me saying, “It was very nice of you to acknowledge him even though he is different.” Then Jesus walked up towards one of the mounted torches, reached up and took and held the flame in his hand. I could not believe what I saw, and as he walked towards me holding the flame essence in his hands, I said to Jesus, “How did you do that? Why can I not do that? Is it because I lack faith?” He said, “No, you do not, but you must get back to full fellowship and start praying again.”

He continued saying, “Those that live in the cave are businessmen; you do not live in the cave; you live outside the cave.” I then wanted to ask him a personal question relating to something that had been troubling me for quite some time, but had to think a while to put my question in the right way.

When I knew what I wanted to ask him, I said, “Something is bothering me; you know already what concerns me. I wanted to ask you what you think about it and how it has made me feel.” Jesus was listening very strongly about my concerns but did not give me any answer. Suddenly I felt my body shake, and I instantly woke up. I was frustrated at first because He chose not to answer my question, but maybe He feels it is best that I do not to know what his thoughts are as that could do more harm than good.

As I sat up from my bed, I ended up telling Jesus in deep thought, ‘It’s okay, Jesus, if you do not want me to know your thoughts on the problem that I have. You know it has been troubling me for quite some time, and I only wanted to know what you think about the situation.’ As I gathered my thoughts about the dream, I felt that Jesus was showing me that I do not lack faith and that I can do anything.

But he was warning me, that I must get back into fellowship with Him and I must start praying again. I was in deep fellowship with Jesus, and my spiritual growth was strong until I slowly stopped praying and my fellowship with him dwindled. He had spoken to me through others that I must start reading His Word and praying more. But I had struggled many times even though I knew it was important for my spiritual growth.

With regards to the cave, Jesus was saying that those who live in the cave are like businessmen. They store up their wealth and riches in a cave, store up their treasures on earth, but nothing in Heaven. For me, I live outside the cave because my riches and wealth are not from this earth; I do not love money, but I do love God.

I live outside the cave, storing up my treasures in Heaven. As it says in Scripture,

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6: 19– 21).
